A couple of weeks ago we went to Gardner Village to partake in the Fall Festivities. We first visited the little petting zoo they have which I was a little concerned about because Tyler is terrified of animals. He did great! He touched a lamb, goat, rode a pony- these are major steps for him! Trevor was a little wary at first but warmed up to the animals after a while. For those of you with little kids and living in the SL Valley I highly recommend this. It's $2 per person and you can spend all the time you want (plus they have HUGE bottles of handsanitizer!!). Pony rides are $3 per person. From there we went and stood in line for an hour and a half to ride in a horse drawn carriage with a witch. Ummm, it was cold and the line was long and Trevor doesn't do so well when he has to stay in one place for long. Let's leave it at that. If you can get there when the line isn't long I do recommend this too- it is also $2 per person. The witch we rode with was really cute with our boys and let us take a picture with her at the end. We also got goodies at the Naborhood Bakery and walked around and looked at the cute Witches on display. I wanted to stop at the candy store for a free sample of fudge but it was too crowded and someone was cranky (no names will be named here but it wasn't me!). There are some adorable places set up to take pictures of your kids. Too bad I didn't have them in costume that day....
