What we've been doing....

Tyler just finished another season of soccer. His team was the "Black Knights". He said that other teams were afraid of them because they had black jerseys. They had a really talented team this time around and won most, if not all their games. He really loves playing soccer.
Trevor loved being a cone-head at soccer.

For Mother's Day my sisters and I made a dinner for our lovely mom. It turned out delicious and pretty so I just had to take a picture and blog about it. It was a Rumbi-style chicken (and black beans and corn and Mango salsa!!) and rice dish with a green salad on the side. It was so easy to make and tasted fabulous!

On Memorial Day we braved the crowds and went to the cemetery to visit my dad's grave and some others there. It was a lovely day but so crowded that I think next year we will go on the Saturday prior or something.
We've also been playing at the park, working in our yard (we got the garden in- yay!), and visiting with our grandpa who is in the final days of his life. I absolutely love Spring weather and all the things you can do this time of year so it has been a little bittersweet to be going through this right now.
